September 6, 2023 (NEWS BERN, NC) BOSCH (BSH), a leader in home appliances and remodeling, is partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Craven County as a signature partner for the Habitat UpScale ReSale Auction. The auction will be held on Nov. 3rd at The Flame Catering and Banquet Hall from 6 to 9 pm. Tickets are available for purchase at the Habitat ReStore. All proceeds for this event support Habitat as we take individuals and families out of substandard/overcrowded living conditions and put them into safe, affordable Habitat Homes.

According to Andy MacLaren, Chief Technology Officer for BSH Region North America, BSH is committed to helping improve the quality of life at home – and that mission extends into the communities where BSH is located. “As one of the largest employers in the area, it is important to us to extend our reach outside of our factories and offices and into the community,” MacLaren explained. “For several years, our New Bern team has supported Craven County Habitat for Humanity during Bosch Cares Month as well as participation with a new home build. Our BSH associates typically form teams that volunteer with the ongoing building process for homes throughout Craven County.”

MacLaren also noted that several appliances have been donated to these local homes, including 10 dishwashers donated by the RNA Board of Management to celebrate the 10 millionth dishwasher produced in New Bern back in May 2019.
