Tickets, sponsorships available for Habitat for Humanity of Craven County’s ‘Hammer it Home ... on the Range’ fundraiser
Habitat for Humanity of Craven County is seeking sponsors for its annual Hammer it Home fundraiser. This year’s Western-themed event, “Hammer it Home . . . on the Range,” will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Pavilion in Carolina Colours from 6-9 p.m.
HFHCC has set a fundraising goal of $50,000 for this year’s event, which will feature two main highlights: a Reverse Drawing, where the winning ticket will receive $5,000, and a Chair-ity Live Auction, showcasing 11 hand-painted chairs created by local artists.
Participants will be treated to heavy hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, giveaways, and line dancing.
Tickets are $80 and are now on sale at www.cravencountyhabitat.org/, by calling 252-633-9599 or at the Habitat ReStore, 930 Pollock St., New Bern.
In addition to ticket sales, a key component to the success of the annual fundraiser is the contributions of local sponsors, both individuals and businesses. Participating sponsors will be promoted and acknowledged for supporting “Hammer it Home” until the Nov. 7 event.
Sponsorships are available at the following levels:
Homeownership: $5,000
SuperStructure: $2,500
Raise the Rafters: $1,000
Framework: $500
Front Door: $250
Participants also can support HFHCC through a financial donation or a silent auction experience or item. Forms for sponsorship, silent auction/giveaway and financial donations are available at www.cravencountyhabitat.org/.
Habitat for Humanity of Craven County was established in 1989 as an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-profit Christian housing ministry. In 35 years, HFHCC has helped more than 80 new homeowners access safe, affordable housing—today's Habitat homeowners pay around $600 to $800 a month, covering a 0% mortgage, property taxes, and insurance.
By joining “Hammer it Home…on the Range,” as a sponsor or attendee, participants can play a crucial role in transforming lives and creating safe and stable living environments for adults and their children.
