Epiphany Students Help Build More Than Walls

In August, students from Epiphany School rolled up their sleeves and joined the Habitat team to install drywall at our current house under construction. Their hard work is a perfect example of how the community comes together to support families on the path to homeownership.
Each Habitat Prospective Homeowner (PHO) invests more than 300 hours of sweat equity—working alongside volunteers on the construction site, serving in the Habitat ReStore, and giving back through community service.
In addition, every PHO participates in 15 hours of homeowner education, gaining practical knowledge and skills to ensure long-term success in their new homes.
With the help of student volunteers, community partners, and dedicated PHO families, Habitat for Humanity continues to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
