Building Homes, Serving Hearts
In May, Habitat for Humanity of Craven County proudly hosted a Women Build Day, where volunteers worked together to help make the dream of homeownership a reality for a local family.
Our efforts extended beyond construction — at the RCS Satellite Station in Bayboro, staff, volunteers, Board Members, and our Executive Director distributed food, toiletries, and other essentials to those in need.
As part of their “2025 Reach Week,” members of Latitude Church volunteered at the ReStore, where they organized our shed, put away Christmas in July items, and removed decorative window paint from the storefront.
Together, we’re building more than houses — we’re building hope.
Would you like to get involved? Sign up to volunteer in the Habitat ReStore, warehouse, or at the construction site — no experience necessary! If you’re interested, please reach out to Buna Cumbie, Volunteer Services and Faith Relations Coordinator.
