Construction Volunteers
Volunteers work alongside our construction team, partner families, and other volunteers to help help bring Habitat homes to life.
The day begins with a site supervisor leading a “Safety Talk” to review safety procedures and outline the day’s tasks. Depending on the stage of construction, volunteers can expect to help with framing floors and walls, setting roof trusses, installing siding, building porches, installing windows and doors, painting, installing cabinets, trim and flooring, landscaping, and more.
No experience is required—just a willingness to learn, work as a team, and support the mission of building safe, affordable housing.
